  I would not recommend Fitzys for those seeking a positive and comforting environment to expand their pole community and fitness training. The lack of care and consideration from the upper management with regards to the students wellbeing and concerns has been nothing short of disappointing. This attitude notably continues through to their treatment of staff, and hence forth, the teachings then passed on to the students. Students are only contacted by the Studio Management for payment of fees and no appropriate care or consideration is given to long term students who have otherwise always paid their fees who may be struggling, financially or personally. After being excited and eager to begin my pole training again I was incredibly disheartened to discover that the instructor I had been place with was uncomfortable, and if a bit rude to work with. As a direct result I discontinued my classes and issued a formal complaint to the Studio Management. I was then placed to a different class with a different instructor only to find that other students had suffered the same discomfort with the same previous instructor. At no point was this instructor spoken to (to my knowledge) and this same inappropriate teaching manner is still taken into each respective class. To further the concerns none of the instructors have personal training qualifications, in some instances there are students who are teaching classes. The lack of appropriate insurance cover for the studios in the event there is an accident is unsettling. Furthermore the mixed level classes where less experienced students are exposed to higher level training techniques has caused high risk situations where incidents have only very narrowly been avoided. Pole Dance should be about good health, good people and good fun, this studio fails to appeal to this and instead creates an unsafe and unsettling environment not suited to those seeking confidence and inspiration. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I went through, particularly when I am refused a refund for being too uncomfortable to return to my classes.
